Specialises in wills, trusts, inheritance tax planning, Power of Attorney and probate.

Nadia has a particular interest in business succession planning and trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries. She is a Trustee of various private and charitable trusts and is a Director of the firm’s Trust Corporation.

Nadia qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and is Head of Private Client – Sussex.

Instructed by another firm of solicitors to advise on estates of a brother and sister who died in quick succession – identifying a tax planning opportunity to sign a double death Deed of Variation saving £154,000 Inheritance Tax.


HIGH VALUE ESTATE ADMINISTRATION

Administration of a £15m estate including liaison with Corporate Team and Accountants to wind up two companies and appropriate properties to mitigate Capital Gains Tax.


OWNER MANAGED BUSINESS

Advised owner managed business on Inheritance Tax and business succession planning involving a Discretionary Will Trust to capitalise on Business Property Relief from Inheritance Tax; liaison with IFA regarding Key Person Life Assurance and Corporate Team regarding Cross Option Agreements
