Nigel specialises in commercial property development and investment as well as residential development acquisition work for house builders. He also deals with country houses and estates. Some of Nigel’s clients are overseas and he is familiar with the process of local legal opinions. The acquisitions he has handled range from single let properties to portfolios.
In respect of commercial landlord and tenant work, he has acted for both landlords and occupational tenants. For his residential developer clients, Nigel deals with acquisitions, site assemblies, strategic options, infrastructure arguments, break-ups and disposals.

Acted for the seller in the sale of a 500 acre estate.
LEASE STRUCTURING
Acted for the landlord/freeholder of a portfolio of mixed use buildings to structure a lease arrangement to disapply the rights of first refusal of residential tenants.
LEASE ARRANGEMENT
Acted for landowner in a conditional agreement for lease arrangement of an EV charging point development.
HLEASE TRANSACTION
Acted for landlord in the grant of a lease to a university at a starting annual rent of over £4m with an indexed rent review.
