Advises on all aspects of commercial dispute resolution, intellectual property and technology related disputes, and regularly assists in high value complex matters with an international element.

Beatrice supports the head and senior members of the Dispute Resolution TMT department on a variety of corporate and commercial disputes. She specialises in intellectual property and technology related disputes, including advice on trademarks, design rights, misuse of confidential information, copyright and database rights.

Beatrice regularly assists on complex high value claims issued at the High Court, including the Queen’s Bench Division, Chancery Division and Intellectual Property Enterprise Court and advises international clients in cross border litigation and arbitration

The law is not Beatrice’s first career, and she is familiar with copyright and royalty distribution from over 10 years’ experience in the music industry as international touring and recording artist on the bass guitar.

Beatrice is fluent in German and understands basic French.

Work highlights

High Court Claim

Assisted the Defendant’s legal team in European Real Estate Debt Fund (Cayman) Limited v Anoup Treon and others, a high value High Court claim regarding financial investments in the care sector.


ARBITRATION

Acted as part of the Claimant team in a complex International Arbitration at the LCIA London Court of International Arbitration).


ROYALTIES AND COPYRIGHT

Acted for the legal team of Delicious Digital Limited in a dispute with PRS for Music in relation to royalty payments, contractual breaches, copyright issues and infringement of competition law.


DEBT RECOVERY

Acted as part of the Claimant’s legal team on behalf of a Cypriot company in a High Court claim against Israeli companies and individuals for the recovery of a substantial debt.
